HÓI HUMANAXES!
In the MENTSOLIO, we already explain how MU-, KUAK-, SI- and NO-choices, combined with MU-, KUAK-, SI- and NO-situations. We already know our choices, situations and determinants. We need to learn how to express these determinants with each grammatical function.
Babeliro has a dual system for root words and number equivalents (BABELIRO and BABELARO), so in Babeliro we also have two types of grammatical function markers that can be used: You can use either prepositions or cases, or occasionally both. Prepositions are shown before a noun to give that noun a function. Cases are added as replacement for the -O ending and gives the same meaning as prepositions and it does not conjugate (same ending for all nouns, depending on grammatical function).
To discover Babeliro’s grammatical functions, we need remember the 4 emotional expressions from the “8 non-word expressions”:
EW = ehm = realisation (in present thoughts)
AW = ahm = observation (on past facts)
UW = uhm = surprise (from future circumstances)
OW = ohm = concern (with constant concern)
We can see that each vowel represents an idea intermixed with MU, so we would need to interject with MU [W] again to subtract what’s in each EW, AW, UW, and OW:
EW ∩ W = in + thoughts = {XEN (in, to enter) ; MENT (if, to think)}
AW ∩ W = in + thoughts = {PAS (to/on, to go) ; TANT (so, to exist)}
UW ∩ W = from + circumstances = {DUS (from/of, to come) ; FLUS (therefore , to flow)}
OW ∩ W = with + purpose = {KON (with, to unite) ; TROL (because, to aim)}
This gives us 8 new root words: 4 with prepositional/case meaning (in, to/on, from/of, with) and 4 with connector meaning (if, so, from).
For a preposition to make sense, we ought to have must end in preposition, we first combine those 4 root words with prepositional/case meaning between each other in a new situational table in both positive and negative:
These are 40 directional/positional prepositions, and they are all built from logic only. For completeness, I add the following positional directions and prepositions that could not be inferred from logic:
SOBER- (over, to go up); SOBERDU [SOBERDUS] (above, over of); SOBERAT [SOBERPAS] (over on, on top)…
NEDER- (under, to go down); NEDERDU [NEDERDUS] (under of); NEDERAT [NEDERPAS] (below, under on)…
LINKS- (left); LINKSDU [LIKSDUS] (left); LINKSAT [LINKSPAS] (left on)…
DRET- (right); DRETDU [DRETDUS] (right); DRETAT [DRETPAS] (right)…
NORS- (North); NORSDUS- (North from); NORSAT- (North to)…
SUD- (South); SUDUS- (South from); SUDAT [SUDPAS]- (South to)…
OSTER- (East); OSTERDU [OSTERDUS] (East of); OSTERAT [OSTERPAS] (East to)…
BESTER (west); BESTERDU [BESTERDUS] (West of); BESTERAT [BESTERPAS] (West at)…
We end up with a total of 56 directional prepositions.
Now let’s think how those 4 root words with prepositional/case meaning combine with the 4 connecting roots, and from these roots we also get our Babeliro’s cases for those prepositions (not for the locational only prepositions):
We end up with up to 32 logical prepositions and 40 cases (some I show in black because I don't have translation yet).
In terms of how to use prepositions and cases, there’s no recommended preference. It may be useful to move verbs near nouns to clarify hierarchy. You can use also both prepositions and not the same ending. For example:
Simple sentence:
YO HUMANATA SERE.
I am human.
Double sentence:
YO SERE KE [TANTPAS] LO HUMANOR BABELIRATA MAKI. [Note: Moved verb to second position for clarity]
I am the human that makes Babeliro.
Triple sentence:
YO SERE KE [TANTPAS] HUMANOR KE [TANTPAS] BABELIRAXE XENROLEKI MAKI.
I am the human that makes Babeliro being good.
Alternative: YO KE HUMANOR KE BABELIRAXE XENROLEKI MAKI SERE.
Day 4: 40 directional prepositions + 16 human prepositions + 36 logical prepositions + 40 cases
